The gallery has found a home near the Petit Sablon, in a restored 16th-century house that escaped the demolitions of the 20th century.
Its thick walls, endowed with a soul, have many stories to tell. Think of the Counts of Egmont and Horne, trapped and arrested during a festivity given by the Duke of Alba, just a few metres from the gallery.
Unlike other galleries, the works are not shown against bare, clinical walls: they come into their own in warm surroundings that have kept all their character.
Discover this singular, uncompromising gallery during its temporary exhibitions.
